Our day trips are organised to offer the chance to see elusive species and to celebrate the area’s birds and fantastic scenery.

Maybe you have species that you would particularly like to see or would just like a bird-filled day out. Whatever you require, we always try our best to maximise our time in the field. We appreciate that people love to see new species and are delighted to make this happen.

The Cotswold Birdwatching Company offers birding day trips to various locations in Gloucestershire and the South West. They are intended to provide you with a fun, bird-filled day out with our Guide in a relaxed atmosphere.

We welcome birdwatchers of all levels of age and experience to join our small, like-minded and friendly groups as our aim is to ensure that you not only enjoy your trip with us, but learn more about bird identification and field craft from the Guide. Your Guide will also be able to advise you on issues such as bird guides, optics, clothing and many other aspects of birdwatching.

We believe that above all small groups are invaluable to providing successful birdwatching trips. Therefore we only aim to have between 2-10 people on each trip as this means fewer people per Guide and a more personal service with more chance of seeing the birds you want to see.
